Competence

I chose venipuncture as my second skill because this skill allowed me to grow as a nurse. While in the first semester, our skills were limited to IV push, discontinuing an IV, we have now advanced into inserting an IV. I have always considered IV insertion an advanced skill, so learning and receiving a 10/10 on this skill makes me confident as a student nurse.
